On  Saturday, January 11 the annual YoungArts Miami Gala will take place at The Rubell Museum. The evening will celebrate the culmination of National YoungArts Week and highlight YoungArts’ efforts to bring vital career-long support to more artists throughout the country.    

Groundbreaking ballerina and advocate for diversity in dance, Misty Copeland, will be presented with the Arison Award and the winner of the annual Jorge M. Pérez Award will also be announced. The program will be emceed by Tony-nominated actress, singer, dancer, model and coach, Lorna Courtney (2016 Voice). The evening’s performances will feature notable YoungArts award winners and be directed by Caleb Teicher (2011 Dance), a New York City-based dancer, choreographer and director regarded widely in the performing arts as a leading voice in interdisciplinary collaboration.
