About the Event

Join us at the YoungArts Gallery next week as Joanna Fuhrman (1991 Writing & U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts), 2025 YoungArts at the Betsy Writer’s Room resident and author of Data Mind, presents a reading and conversation with fellow writer and collaborator Denise Duhamel. This reading enters Data Mind, a darkly comic and surreal new collection of prose poems about digital life as a non-digital native, into conversation with Duhamel’s Pink Lady, a sharp and tender memoir in poems about the end of a mother’s life during the pandemic.

6 PM – Doors Open
6:30 PM – Readings
7:10 PM – Discussion + Q&A
8 PM – Event Ends

Complimentary beverages and on-site parking available.
