Careers at YoungArts

Are you a past YoungArts award winner?

Work with Us

Over 50 percent of all artistic positions for programs are filled by YoungArts Award winners annually. Resident advisors, discipline coordinators, national reviewers and guest artists play an integral role in the quality of YoungArts programming and the mentorship of our winners. It takes exceptional people to fulfill these roles and we take special care in selecting individuals with the potential to develop leadership skills and grow within the YoungArts community.

YoungArts regularly engages award winners for performance opportunities at YoungArts donor and corporate partnership events. If you’re interested in participating please email community@youngarts.org

Resident Advisors

Resident advisors play an integral role in the quality of YoungArts programming and the mentorship of winners. YoungArts hires RAs for National YoungArts Week (January).

Become a Reviewer

With dozens of open calls for YoungArts award winners as well as our annual competition for high school students taking place each year, we regularly employ a diverse group of professional artists with an established practice in their field to review submissions of work. Reviewers are tasked with evaluating applications for a variety of programs, assessing everything from artistic excellence to funding potential and technical expertise, based on the needs and guidelines of each specific program.

YoungArts provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.  In addition to federal law requirements, YoungArts complies with applicable state and local laws governing nondiscrimination in employment in every location in which the company has facilities.  This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff,  recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation and training.
