About the Event
Michael Thurber & Friends is a musical variety show that features artists from different cultural and musical backgrounds. Hosted and curated by bassist and songwriter Michael Thurber (2006 Classical Music), the show flows seamlessly from guest to guest, hopping through centuries of musical styles – hip hop to baroque, carnatic to spoken word, bluegrass to jazz and everything in between. With a spirit of joy and togetherness at its core, the show is equal parts educational and entertaining.
