Christell Victoria Roach (2015 Writing), 2024 YoungArts at the Betsy Writers Room resident, presents a reading from her poetry manuscript, “Bluesing,” followed by a panel discussion with Nadege Green (2005 Writing) and Patricia Braynon.
About Christell Victoria Roach
Christell Victoria Roach is an Emmy-nominated poet and performer from Miami, Florida. As a descendant of Miami’s Black Pioneers, she writes about Blackness, the Blues, and many different types of love. She is currently a Stegner Fellow at Stanford University working on her first book of poetry.
