With only five minutes to rehearse, three YoungArts winners come together to cover “Killing Me Softly With His Song.”
Three musicians, five minutes to rehearse, one take. This is TakeOne. A group of past YoungArts winners were invited to L.A. to film a collaborative performance video. All they received was key information: a place, date and time to meet. Communicating with one another beforehand was off limits. Shoot day arrived, and the artists got five minutes to discuss together, then cameras were rolling for the first—and only—take, TakeOne.
TakeOne Season 2, Episode 3 features Jasmine Bailey (2016 Voice), India Carney (2011 Theater, Voice & U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts), and David Stewart (2012 Theater & Voice).
